For women who want to train with weights and have never got past the cardio machines.
The first session is a conversation away from the gym. No equipment, nothing to be a beginner at.
If nothing changes in the first session, you don’t pay.
Message me with a little about where you are starting from and I will tell you exactly how I can help.
Plenty of women who feel fine on a treadmill will not cross to the other side of the gym. Same building, same membership, completely different feeling. That tells you the barrier is not fitness, because your fitness did not change when you walked across the room.
What changes is who you think is watching and whether you believe you are allowed to be there. That is a specific thing, it can be named, and once it is named it stops running the decision.
Lifting is the single most useful thing most women can do for their long term health, and the evidence behind that is not marginal.
Lifting builds bone, not just muscle. Loading a bone makes it lay down more material, which is why strength training measurably improves bone density at the hip and spine. Walking and cardio do not do this, and after forty it starts to matter every year.

The other half is what it does for your head. Women who lift consistently report better mood, better sleep and a different relationship with their own body. Most of my clients notice that before they notice anything in the mirror.

About an hour, somewhere local and away from the gym. No equipment and nothing to demonstrate.
What you have tried, how long each attempt lasted, and which parts of a gym you already use comfortably. Most women who come to me are already active somewhere else.
Plenty of women are fine on the cardio floor and will not cross the room. We identify what changes between those two places, because it is not fitness.
A squat, a hinge, a press, a pull and a carry. We plan which order you learn them in and which equipment you will use for each, before you go anywhere near a gym.
We go to the weights area together and work through the five movements. Thirty minutes lifting, thirty minutes afterwards. You learn each one in the place you will actually do it, with someone next to you the first time.
You leave with the five movements written down, the weights to start at and how to add to them. From there it is fortnightly check-ins while you train on your own.
If the weights floor is the part you have never got past, the first conversation costs nothing.
Book a Consultation"I used to avoid certain areas because I didn't want people seeing me struggle. I'd stick to the treadmill because I was too scared to touch the weights."
I work in person across Bracknell, Wokingham, Ascot, Crowthorne and the surrounding Berkshire area, in whichever gym you already use or are thinking about joining.
If you have searched for strength training for women, how to start lifting weights as a woman, or a personal trainer for the weights floor, and the barrier was never the training itself, that is the gap this fills.
If getting onto the weights floor is the problem rather than the lifting, read gym confidence coaching. Training for beginners covers starting from nothing. And personal training over 40 goes into why this matters more in that decade.
Five movements, learned properly, and you have everything you need for your first full year of training. Three to five months to doing it on your own, and the first session is free if nothing changes. Message me and I will tell you how I would start you off.
No. That is the most persistent myth in the industry and it is not how it works. Strength training builds bone density and muscle you have to work very deliberately to gain in any large quantity.
That is normal and it is the easy part. When we start lifting it is five movements, learned properly, one at a time.
This is the fear almost every client names, and 42% of women in Gymshark’s 2025 survey said the same. Stage Three exists precisely so the first time is done with me next to you.
No. Strength training is where you build the fitness, not something you qualify for first.
Drop me a message and tell me where you’re starting from. I’ll help you from there.
